    Description

We’re looking for one exceptional leader.

50/50 Leadership is a volunteer-powered nonprofit providing financial literacy, mentorship, and leadership development programs to women who have overcome trauma, hardship, and victimization. After a successful leadership transition, our Executive Director role is now open — and we are seeking someone extraordinary to guide us into our next chapter of growth and impact.

This role is ideal for a mission-driven, heart-centered leader who thrives in dynamic environments and believes deeply in equity, empowerment, and the power of education.

    Who You Are

You are the kind of leader who brings both vision and steadiness, equally comfortable dreaming big and rolling up your sleeves. You lead with empathy, curiosity, and integrity, and you know how to inspire and mobilize others.

You might be the right fit if you are:

    • Successful – You’ve built or significantly improved an initiative, program, team, or organization.
    • Influential – People naturally trust your leadership and follow your direction.
    • Passionate – Women’s empowerment and financial equity genuinely matter to you.
    • A Stellar Communicator – You listen with presence and speak with clarity.
    • A Relationship Builder – You love connecting with volunteers, partners, and community members.
    • Open-Minded – You lead with curiosity, not assumptions.
    • Entrepreneurial – You’re a go-getter and thrive in volunteer-driven, startup-style environments.
    • Innovative & Creative – You bring fresh ideas and thoughtful solutions.
    • Financially Secure / Philanthropic – You understand the nature of a volunteer-run nonprofit and are comfortable stewarding and supporting mission-critical efforts.

    What You’ll Do

Work in partnership with our Board of Directors to:

    • Guide organizational strategy and set annual priorities
    • Support volunteer-led programs (Money 101, Investing 101, Mentorship, etc.)
    • Strengthen processes, communication, and volunteer engagement
    • Engage community partners, nonprofits, and philanthropic supporters
    • Represent the organization at events, meetings, and community opportunities
    • Ensure organizational continuity and uphold our values of equity, integrity, and empowerment

This is a part-time volunteer role with flexibility.

    Preferred Experience

    • Previous board or nonprofit leadership experience
    • Experience in program oversight, community engagement, fundraising, or partnership development
    • Comfort with remote work and distributed volunteer teams
    • Demonstrated commitment to empowering women and underserved communities

    If this sounds like you…
