Environmental Education Volunteer in the Peruvian Amazon

2021 awaits us with new projects for the communities, and to achieve them, we are searching for committed and heartfelt volunteers.

Minga Peru is a non-profit with over 20 years of experience producing radio programs for social change in the Amazon.

Description

Support the Minga Peru team through finding information and radio resources to produce educational programs for students in the Peruvian Rainforest on topics such as: climate change and environmental conservation, responsible management of natural resources, water and biodiversity conservation, community strategies for conservation.

Qualifications

We’re looking for volunteers with the following experience and skills:

• Graduates or senior students in Biology, Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Environmental Management, Natural Sciences

• Advanced spoken level of Spanish

• At least two months of availability

• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary and intercultural team

• Proactive attitude, suggesting ideas and proposals to improve the radio production

• Ability to communicate with clarity and passion with the management team and radio production

Experience in community work, youth, or women; or experience in developing social projects is not mandatory but highly valued.
