    Description

    Holiday Cheer Gift Delivery

Holiday Cheer volunteers help bring the holiday spirit into the homes of more than 50 isolated older adults in N, NE and E Portland by providing gifts and companionship during December.

Volunteers deliver gift bags to homebound or isolated adults throughout the month of December, spending meaningful time visiting and sharing with them.

Volunteers should allow 30 minutes to an hour for each gift delivery. Gift bags are picked up from the MFS Project Linkage office at 2200 NE 24th Ave. Portland and delivered to older adults and people with disabilities in NE and East Portland. Delivery volunteers must be 18 or older or accompanied by an adult who has passed a criminal background check. Register early to be matched with someone in your area.

You will coordinate the delivery day and time with recipient base on your availability but somewhere between 12/9 and 12/24.
