: Volunteer position, 3 months, with possibility of extension (internships are possible to arrange, and a certificate can be awarded at the end of the volunteer’s mission)

Responsibilities of the advertised position:

BDF is seeking a new staff member to help improve our Human Resources system and develop our social Impact program. The position will work under direct supervision of the Director of Public Relations and Human Resources and work with the Impact and Innovation Team. The main responsibilities of this role will include the following: 

Role and responsibilities include - but are not restricted to:

1.      Together with the Impact and Innovation team, contribute to the development and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of BDF programs depending on the needs on field, mainly:

a.      Program design and coordination

b.      Research and preparation of life skill and educational content and curriculum

c.       Develop guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures

d.      Support team training of field implementation staff

e.      Develop monitoring systems

f.        Data entry and analysis for program monitoring

2.      Support implementation of local programs developed by Baan Dek Foundation: educational activities designed to support mostly migrant communities working on construction sites

Required skills:

Nationality: Native English speaker

Qualification:

·        Experience in project coordination, research, or creation of organizational /instructional tools considered an asset

·        Experience in developing evidence-based programs, educational content, or Monitoring & Evaluation systems considered an asset

Experience working with children (or for an organization that supports children) is considered an asset. Strong social commitment, excellent analytical skills, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to work and live in a multi-cultural environment. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, flexible and interested in fundraising that supports social work.

Language: Fluent in English, Thai as an asset

Working hours: Full time - Monday to Friday with occasional weekend + evenings

Salary & Compensation: compensation for accommodation

Note:

The volunteer is responsible to cover all transportation costs to/from the Baan Dek Foundation office and/or from the country of residence (if applicable), medical/accident insurance, and visa fees for the whole duration of the mission to support the Baan Dek Foundation in Thailand.

The volunteer is responsible to cover all fee related to quarantine, ASQ, COVID 19 test and medical check and immigration.
