    Description

    Spiritual Care Volunteers Wanted!

AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for Spiritual Care Volunteers to sit with our patients throughout Pinellas County!

What does a Spiritual Care Volunteer do?

Spiritual Care Volunteers spend one-on-one time with our patients/families in their home, nursing home, or assisted living facility. Many of our patients may be bed-bound and unable to engage in their spiritual community, or may want to engage in spiritual conversation at the end-of-life.

Spiritual Care Volunteers may pray with the patients & family. They may discuss spirituality, sing hymns of faith, read the patients bible to him/her, engage in spiritual conversation, or just be a quiet supportive presence.

Our patients come in as many faiths and backgrounds, and volunteers will be matched accordingly.
