Volunteer Writer

The Dyslexia Alliance for Black Children is seeking a volunteer writer to compose he organization's literature, press releases, website content, and other communication. The position is project based but is estimated to be between two to five hours a month. This is a great opportunity to volunteer your time or build your resume.

The Dyslexia Alliance for Black Children was created to increase awareness of dyslexia and related learning disabilities, promote early identification, and increase access to research-based intervention for Black children. Black children are disproportionately impacted by the negative effects of dyslexia resulting in academic failure, low self-esteem, and decreased quality of life participation. We are parents, educators, and allies driven by the urgent call to address the double disparity of dyslexia and race.
