Auburn: Your cleaning skills can provide hope

Clients of Volunteer Services are challenged in taking care of everyday tasks such as cleaning their home, doing laundry, and grocery shopping. It does not take long to fall behind and lose control of the situation.

We'll match you with a client that is near you and needs the type of help that you are interested in providing. Just four hours a month of your time in providing important service and engagement in the home can give a senior or adult with a disability an increased feeling of hope and security.

All you need to do is show up. Clients provide all cleaning materials, supplies and equipment. You provide the cheer, help, and hope.

Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. VS provides volunteers who help with the living independence of low-income elders and people living with disabilities. Volunteers are matched to someone based on their interest and volunteering is done on YOUR schedule, in YOUR neighborhood! Just help one to four times a month doing housework, shopping, transportation, yard work, minor home repair, or companionship and make a huge difference in someone’s life. Mileage reimbursed, orientation provided, and background check required.
