The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) seeks volunteers to work on programs to support healthier entrepreneurial ecosystems around the world in more than 170 countries.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about every facet of the GEN organization and work with staff members located around the world. Examples of past projects conducted by volunteers include:

  • Researching startup ecosystems and environments for entrepreneurs in select countries
  • Supporting operations for the Entrepreneurship World Cup; interfacing with entrepreneurship ecosystem builders around the world
  • Communications and social media support for GEN and its programs
  • Preparing and supporting teams on the ground for Global Entrepreneurship Week, GEN’s week-long signature celebration in November
  • Aiding in outreach and community building for GEW / EWC
  • Event management support for the Global Entrepreneurship Congress and other events
  • Helping develop & brainstorm strategies for new projects and programs
  • Helping increase awareness and reach of the GEN brand

Qualifications

  • Current college student or recent graduate with strong academic record
  • Passionate about entrepreneurship
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Independent worker, effective communicator
  • Strong cultural and interpersonal skills for working with international team members

Timeframe

Project Associate Volunteers are expected to stay a minimum of eight (8) weeks with start and end dates flexible throughout the year. 40 hours per week are preferred but negotiable. Remote working. Apply now!
