We support personal connections to nature for People of Color and the LGBTQ+ communities, through outdoor adventures and education. We have no limits when providing a variety of activities for our community. Our stewardship and conservation program focus is on decolonizing outdoor education by creating culturally relevant foundations for Communities of Color & LGBTQ folks to connect to nature and their communities. GL Coordinator will also ensure community members can correctly use tents, camping stoves, and all other equipment that is dangerous and costly. The Gear Library will act as a support for our community and our Adventure Leaders when they are planning an Adventure. Lastly, the GL Coordinator will support trips from start to finish by prepping and staging gear, and assisting in the clean-up and de-issuing of gear.
