Bring Honor and Compassion to Fellow Veterans in Hopsice Care.

At Gentiva Hospice, we believe that no one should face the end of life alone-and that no one undertsands a Veteran like a fellow Veteran. That's why we are seeking dedicated Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteers to offer companionship, support and a sense of shared service to our Veteran patients.

What You'll Do:

As a Veteran Volunteer, youll be matched with hopice patients who have also served in the military. Whether through conversation, storytelling, presence at pinning ceremonies or simply spending quiet time together, your presence offers diginity and connection in a uniquely powerful way.

Training Provided:

Gentiva Hospice offers thorough training and ongoing support. No medical experience is needed-just your time, empathy and shared service background-and a good attitude!

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S Military Veteran
• Must pass a background check
• Must Pass TB Screening
• Must pass drug test
• Be compassionate and dependable
• A few hours a month can make a huge difference.
