Welcome to Nepal, a land of stunning nature and rich diverse culture! Join Volunteer Society Nepal for a four or five weeks volunteer and trek experience in this ancient Himalayan kingdom. Volunteer Society Nepal’s volunteer and trek program gives you an opportunity to volunteer and to engage in the most spectacular natural, cultural, and wildlife experiences Nepal has to offer.
Our volunteer and trek program will allow you to discover as much as possible in your short time, while giving back to the local Nepali communities around you. Whether your dream is to watch basking Gharial/Marsh crocodiles, to splash with an elephant in a jungle river, to stroll in the medieval streets of Kathmandu or to relax on a boat in Fewa Lake with mirror images of Annapurna Himalayan ranges – we can make it real.
The volunteer and trek program starts in the Kathmandu Valley, with its UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. From there the journey heads north to the fantastic Lake City of Pokhara and then takes you into the mountains for a magnificent trek. Your cultural journey through Nepal is enriched by opportunities to volunteer at one or more of Volunteer Society Nepal’s projects across the country: teaching English, sports, or IT in schools; working in an orphanage, helping the children with intellectual disability at its care center, or with women’s groups, or taking part in construction.
This volunteer and trek program has been designed for travelers seeking a unique holiday that combines volunteering, cultural engagement, and sightseeing in the mountains and jungles of Nepal.
Volunteer Society Nepal offers unique volunteering and adventure opportunity for individuals, couples, groups, students, and experts, as well as senior and youth professionals from all over the world to make a contribution to Nepali society. At the same time, you will experience the rich culture, natural splendor, and daily life of Nepal, one of the most beautiful countries of the world.
