Hospice Care Home Cleaning Help Needed!

Suncrest Hospice is looking for volunteers (16+ years or older) to join the Suncrest Team as we provide excellent care and support to our hospice patients and their families in their homes and care facilities. We serve families in Sacramento, Placer, Sutter, Yolo, Yuba, and El Dorado counties.

Our patients who live at home with family members or on their own, need the occasional help with cleaning (vaccuming, dishes, wipe down). Do you enjoy helping people? Giving to others? 

Volunteers are assigned at least one or more patients to visit on a weekly basis. Visits are usually around an hour and would bring such a wonderful help to patients and family who are in need of help.

Volunteers are trained in their role with patients. We are required to conduct background checks and a TB test, at no charge to volunteers. No drug testing required.

The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at the end of life. Through an interdisciplinary team: nurse, nurse assistant, social worker, chaplain and volunteers, we help the patient and family walk through their journey.
