    We submit required background checks. Application and other paperwork to be completed. Volunteer Coordinator will provide basic training on hospice and protocols for visits, assist with scheduling and review your notes with you after each visit.

    Elara Caring Hospice in Newburyport, MA....

    Is looking for Caring musicians to share their voice and/or instruments by visiting patients living with a terminal illness in Essex and Northern Middlesex Counties. Your talents can brighten the day of our patients and families through the transformative power of music. No direct physical contact required, just a desire to share your musical gift! Visits take place in homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes.Training provided. Hours are flexible (weekdays, weekends, evenings, etc., two hours per week). COVID-19 restrictions upheld per CDC and facility guidelines.
