    Make a new friend and bring joy, comfort and connection to our amazing patients as they enter their last stages of life. You will receive an orientation and training, and will be well-supported by the hospice team. What can you do as a "buddy volunteer"?

    • Friendly visit with patient
    • Assist patients as they participate in nursing home activities
    • Celebrate birthdays
    • Play cards or a game
    • Sit outdoors with them on a patio
    • Walk their dog
    • Play a musical instrument and/or sing
    • Read a book
    • Write letters that the patient dictates
