Full Job Description

We are seeking a part and/or full time Social Media and Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is excited about joining a new but rapidly growing nonprofit that has a fun, casual culture but also a professional approach to serving the military spouse community. Successful candidates must possess the entrepreneurial drive and spirit to thrive in an evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Directly manage email and social media campaigns to help grow the MSCC audience and new member growth.
• Monitor comments across multiple social media channels and engage in dialogue as appropriate.
• Collaborate strategically to create monthly marketing plans that incorporate input.
• Develop both technical content and copy for email and social media campaigns and monitor the effectiveness of these campaigns.
• Collaborate with other members of our team to constantly improve team and individual performance.
• Implement feedback from teammates quickly and effectively to the utmost quality of work.

Qualifications:

• Integrity First!
• Self-starter, detail-oriented and personable.
• Bachelor’s degree. (Marketing Degree and/or marketing experience a plus).
• Familiarity with and interest in online communication channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google, and Yelp!
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• High levels of initiative and creativity.
• Ability to work under deadlines and be flexible.
• Handle stressful situations well.
• Must be a reliable and skilled professional.
