Help neighbors in Little Falls facing fires or other disasters!

This is an incredible opportunity to help neighbors facing a disaster!! The American Red Cross is committed to providing volunteer support to families in crisis. YOU can be a lifeline for friends, neighbors, and strangers.

Position: Disaster Action Team (DAT)

Duties:

*County based position

*Go to local disaster locations and assess needs of affected families.

*Report client needs to disaster teams and supervisors, so clients can be connected with monetary, medical or emotional support.

Commitment:

*Attend monthly meeting with team.

*Commit to responses at least four times each month, if needed.

*Complete series of virtual self-led trainings.

Qualifications:

*Comfortable with phone & computer for communication.

*Stable interaction with diverse clients facing stressful situations.

*Age 18+ with valid license in order to respond to disasters quickly.
