Fundraising Volunteer for Special Olympics NC Summer Games

Description
"Are you a born networker? Would you like to work with businesses in the Raleigh area to secure event sponsors for our Summer Games? Event sponsorships start at $5,000. We're looking to add new sponsors and bring back some sponsors from the past. In addition to our development department and current commitments, we are looking for a little extra help from people in the area who believe in the Special Olympics movement and want to ensure an excellent event for almost 1,500 athletes who will be present at Summer Games.
This leader of this committee will be part of our Games Management Team so will be expected to participate in 1-2 evening meetings before the event.
The ideal candidates will be passionate, personable and detail-oriented. Past experience with Special Olympics is helpful but not necessary. Past fundraising experience is a plus. Ideally, we will grow this committee to a team of 3-5 volunteers to share the work."
