    You need to be at least 18, canines can be any age! Copy of Therapy Certification, Vet records of most recent vaccines. Record the time, date & type of activity on Elara time sheets. Brief note about your visit so the VC can update the family.

    Calling Pet Therapy Dogs!

    Do you have a registered pet therapy dog and want to brighten someone's day? Elara Caring Hospice in Newburyport, MA is looking for caring volunteers and their certified therapy dogs to visit patients living with a terminal illness in Essex and Northern Middlesex Counties. Visits take place in homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Training provided. Hours flexible (weekdays, weekends, evenings, etc.). COVID-19 restrictions upheld per CDC guidelines and facility requirements.
