We have two types of Advisory Council Teams serving seniors and people with disabilities:
Our Disability Services Advisory Council (DSAC) consists of 15 members and is made up of persons that use or have used disability services and individuals interested in issues and services to people with disabilities.
Our Senior Advisory Council (SAC) consists of 20 members and is made up of older adults, 60 years and older, representative of older adults, local elected officials, persons with leadership experience, representatives from agencies providing services to older adults and the general public.
Membership Requirements
Passion for our aging and disability populations
Serve two-year terms
Attend monthly meetings in the comfort of your home via Zoom with the possibility of in-person in Salem if desired in the future
membership includes older adults age 60+, people with disabilities, consumers, receiving services form NWSDS, social services professionals, and members of the general public.
