Job Opening: Partnership Coordinator

Type:  Volunteer position (5 hrs/week), Fully remote, flexible hours Commitment: Minimum commitment of six months

It’s built on the Seven Principles of Nature First Photography - developed to help educate and guide both professional and recreational photographers in sustainable, minimal impact practices that will help preserve nature’s beautiful locations.

Being the Partnership Coordinator for Nature First is a great opportunity to help spread this vision among like-minded organizations, creating a network that can help to extend the message of Nature First and our partner organizations.

This position is volunteer, fully remote, flexible hours, ideally 3-5 hours per week.

As a Partnership Coordinator, you will:

• Be a Nature First champion, promoting the mission, vision and ethos of Nature First.
• Strategically and actively recruit partner organizations whose missions are aligned with Nature First which will help to further our mission.
• Assist in the development of outreach materials that convey the value of working with Nature First
• Guide the decision making process for an organization to be formally accepted as a partner.
• Regularly communicate with our existing partner organizations: ensuring that they are still a good fit with Nature First, that they are fulfilling their partnership obligations, encouraging them to use their voice for the protection of the natural world and also learning how we at Nature First can best support them.
• Assist our community advocates in recruiting, vetting and maintaining partners in their countries.
• Actively participate in Nature First staff meetings and strategy planning discussions 
• Report directly to the managing directors

If you are: 

• Reliable, collaborative, outgoing and have a positive attitude
• Passionate about the natural world and the mission of Nature First
• Highly self-motivated and  willing to take initiative
• An excellent communicator in the English language, both written and verbal

If you have:

• Skill in building relationships with new people and organizations
• Experience with outreach and engagement of external stakeholders
• A reliable, collaborative, outgoing and a positive attitude
• A commitment to give a minimum of 5 hours per week to this volunteer role
