    Virtual tutors are asked to complete 12 hours of training. This can be completed over time, and is offered for free, virtually. The training is helps our volunteers feel comfortable and prepared and for our students to receive high quality support!

    Help Adult English Language Learners

    Passionate about learning? Have an hour free a week? Lakeville ABE would love to have you as a virtual English language tutor! Volunteers lead a conversation with an adult-English language learner one hour a week. Adult learners are very appreciative and welcome any help to improve their English. Activities may include help with speaking, pronunciation, and reading. These virtual sessions happen whenever works for you and your learner across any video chatting platform. Reach out today!
