Introduction to the project:
VIN's Youth Club and Life Skills Volunteering Project is a great opportunity to inspire and spur on the emerging generation of Nepal. Volunteers will work with youth clubs in marginalized communities to help them develop life skills, teamwork, creativity, and organization/planning. They will also raise awareness of community issues such as health, the environment, and human rights.

Nepal is a country with a young population, and many young people lack the skills and opportunities they need to succeed. This project provides a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Nepal's youth. According to the World Bank, 40% of Nepal's population is under the age of 15. To be eligible for this project, you must:
Your cultural experience and Project Setting:
This project will give you the opportunity to experience Nepali culture firsthand. You will live with a host family and have the chance to learn about Nepali customs and traditions. The project setting is in rural Nepal, so you will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of the Nepali countryside.
Food and accommodation:
You will be provided with three meals a day and accommodation with a host family. You are responsible for any additional dietary requirements.
Start Dates:
The project runs all year round, with start dates on the first and third Mondays of each month.
Schedule and commitments:
The project schedule is flexible, but you typically work 4-6 hours a day, 5 days a week. You will also be required to attend a two-day orientation at the beginning of the project.

On Arrival Training:
