Our in-prison participants submit completed paper-based educational assessments and answer sheets (bubble sheets) to us after completing their financial literacy modules. We use software to grade these answer sheets quickly and we store their grades and submission in a cloud-based system. As volunteers, you would review the answer sheets for our in-prison program participants, scan in their answers, add in log their submission, and then send their answers to them along with motivating language related to their performance or supportive language even if they got many questions wrong. Each session would occur virtually at a dedicated time. Each session would launch with a training regarding how to grade assessments, where to store grades, where to log submissions, and how to respond to participants (with tips on motivating participants). This same opportunity may be available to our program participants who are formerly incarcerated. If you have an interest in hosting online group education, there is an opportunity to provide monthly group tutoring sessions via zoom. We seek volunteers who have attention to detail and can bring a warmth in either their written or verbal communication skills.
