    About BluShues Inc.

    BluShues Inc. is a Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting communities through faith-based service, education, empowerment, and outreach. We are expanding our development team and seeking three skilled, committed Grant Writers who are passionate about making a global impact through their work.

    We are currently seeking a Social Media Assistant to join our Communications Team and help strengthen our online presence across various platforms.

    Position Overview

    As a Social Media Assistant, you will support the development and execution of BluShues’ social media strategy. You will work closely with the Communications and Coordination teams to create engaging content, increase audience engagement, and help expand the reach of our mission.

    This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about media, communication, design, or community engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with creating and scheduling posts across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Help develop content, including captions, graphics, and stories
    • Maintain consistent branding and messaging in all posts
    • Track engagement metrics and report insights to the Communications Lead
    • Participate in brainstorming and content planning meetings
    • Assist with monitoring comments, messages, and inquiries
    • Contribute creative ideas to increase engagement and visibility

    Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Has strong written communication skills
    • Understands basic social media platforms and trends
    • Is creative, proactive, and willing to learn
    • Can work independently and meet deadlines
    • Has access to a reliable internet connection
    • (Optional but beneficial) Has experience using Canva or similar design tools

    Time Commitment

    • 3–5 hours per week
    • Flexible schedule
