    Technology or Administrative Specialist Intern (Google Cloud Workspace Administration, Project Management, Marketing Assistance, Research/Grant Assistance, Cybersecurity Analyst, Network Technicians, & Web Support Internships Available)

    Remote | 1-5 hrs/month | 6-month Internship | Flexible Schedule | Must Reside in SC, NC, or GA

    Description:

    Join our nonprofit as a Technology Specialist Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting our digital tools and volunteer operations. Under the supervision of the CTO and in coordination with the President and Operations Chief, you’ll assist with the administration of Google Workspace (G Suite) - including account management, system configuration, monitoring, and documentation.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assist with Google Workspace administration (user accounts, permissions, settings)
    • Support basic web page design/development tasks
    • Create Google Forms and Looker Studio visualizations
    • Provide Google Meet support during virtual workshops
    • Help train volunteers on tools like Gemini AI, our booking system, and key technical policies

    Qualifications:

    • Interest in cloud tools, web design, or IT support
    • Comfortable using or learning Google Workspace and Looker Studio
    • Clear communication skills and willingness to support virtual events
    • Ability to follow direction and complete tasks independently

    Internship Details:

    • Remote and flexible (~5 hours/month for 6 months)
    • Great opportunity for students or emerging professionals
    • Supervised by our CTO; additional direction from organizational leadership
    • Professional references and project documentation available upon completion
