Pop-up Food Distribution College Park - Oxnard

12:30- 4:00PM Register clients by collecting their information, answer questions, and place tags on windshields.

1:15-4:00 PM You will also help with the drive-through pantry by placing food boxes in car trunks, managing traffic, and assisting with breakdown.

Please be prepared to stand for up to 3 hours and make sure to bring water, if you are able to or water will be provided on-site.

When: Every Wednesday

Where: College Park, 3250 South Rose Ave., Oxnard, CA 93033

Parking: Park at the distribution site. Please avoid parking in the Channel Islands High School lot. (Please turn onto college park and make a left through the coned area)

Check-in:At the volunteer pop-up tent with Food Share’s Community Engagement team.

Dress Code: Casual, layered, modest clothing, closed-toe shoes. Safety vests will be provided. Disposable gloves available. Check the weather and dress accordingly. Event is rain or shine.

Age Requirement: Must be 12 to volunteer; parental supervision required for ages 12-16.

Safety: Exercise caution with moving vehicles and pedestrians. Treat all food and clients with dignity and respect, maintain confidentiality, and report any issues to staff. Accommodate people with disabilities and limited English proficiency. No client photographs.
