Role Summary:

The Grant/Fundraising Board Member leads and oversees efforts to secure financial support through grants, fundraising campaigns, and donor relationships. They work closely with the Executive Director and Board to ensure the organization has the resources it needs to fulfill its mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and research grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission.
• Write, review, and submit grant applications in collaboration with the Executive Director.
• Develop and execute fundraising campaigns, including individual giving and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding partners.
• Report on fundraising progress and provide insights on revenue-generating strategies.
• Collaborate with the board to create a sustainable financial strategy.

Qualifications:

• Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or donor relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with donors and funding institutions.
