    Description

    Sewing Machine Repair

SCRAP Creative Reuse is a local creative reuse center seeking handy volunteers with a background in sewing machine repair!

At SCRAP we intake 5,000 lbs of donated material each month. Many of the items we receive are mixed little bits. We are a small team here at SCRAP, and we rely on our volunteers to help sort and keep new items flowing out to the floor everyday. If you are passionate about reuse culture, and getting creative with ways to save our planet, this is the opportunity for you! We don't often have machines that need a tune-up or repair, so this would be a less frequent need. But if you know how to fix a machine and would be interested in helping us out occasionally, we can't wait to hear from you!

Volunteers receive a day of discount, and unlimited high fives from our staff.
