    Description

    Join our team of community partner liaisons and help our sustainable education mission in Pincroix, Haiti by building awareness in your community and connecting with organizations.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Proven experience in community engagement, public relations, or a similar role
    2. Familiarity with community outreach strategies and best practices
    3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    4. Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
    5. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
    6. Knowledge of community development principles and practices
    7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    8. Willing to host fundraiser events
    9. Willing to build partnerships and collaborate
    10. Friendly and outgoing with great customer service skills
    11. Love and understanding (or the will to learn) of Haiti

    TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Establish and maintain relationships with community members, stakeholders, and organizations.
    2. Act as a liaison between the organization and the community, conveying information and addressing concerns.
    3. Organize community events, programs, and initiatives to promote engagement and support.
    4. Advocate for the needs and interests of the community within the organization.
    5. Monitor community feedback and sentiment, providing insights to internal teams for decision-making.
    6. Collaborate with various departments to implement community-focused initiatives and projects.
    7. Respond requests from community members and partner organizations in a timely and professional manner.
    8. Develop and implement strategies to enhance community outreach and participation.
    9. Track and report on key metrics related to community engagement and satisfaction.
    10. Stay informed about local issues, trends, and developments affecting the community and the organization.

    Stipend: $500 per month

    Training provided once a week (1 hour)

    Mandatory monthly meetings (2 hours)
