Welcome and Engage Volunteers

If you have a heart for people and a gift for listening, you can make a difference in the lives of those we serve. As a Welcome and Engage volunteer, your presence alone brings comfort, dignity, and hope to neighbors in need.

What You'll Do:

As a Welcome and Engage volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in creating a compassionate, trusting environment for individuals before they visit with a nurse at our onsite assessments. You will:

• Greet individuals by name, helping them feel welcomed and at ease.
• Listen to their stories and offer emotional support.
• Work alongside our Nurse Advocates to enhance the care experience.
• Provide comfort and encouragement, supporting their holistic well-being-body, mind, and spirit.
• Pray with and for those we encounter.

No Medical Experience Required:

While no medical background is needed, we are looking for volunteers who:

• Value holistic care-supporting the body, mind, and spirit.
• Possess strong communication and listening skills.
• Are passionate about helping others feel seen and valued.
