    Description

    Podcast Editor

    Job Description: Be one of a small team of podcast editors. Each edits one episode at a time. The podcast drops the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. It highlights volunteers to educate and inspire listeners.

    Time Involved: Flexible, but probably 5 hours/month.

    Activities:

    • Edit podcasts for Doing Good. This involves editing of audio footage of (less than) one-hour conversational interviews to 20-35 minute episodes which include pre-recorded intros and outros.
    • Be open to using Riverside to edit recorded interviews.
    • Use Slack and Google Drive.

    Responsibilities:

    • Already have access to a computer.
    • Partner with the Podcast Production Manager who coordinates the Podcast Editors and assists with consistency and quality.
    • Partner with the Podcast Team and the Creative Team when/as wanted, needed.
    • Able to work well with others as well as think and act independently.
    • Already have a working knowledge of or professional experience in editing.
    • Work well with flexible hours.
    • Meet deadlines.
    • Attend monthly Creative Team meeting held the first Wednesday of each month.
