    Candidates must have a valid REAL ID or passport for volunteer onboarding. New volunteers will be scheduled to complete an immunization screening and tuberculosis test during volunteer onboarding.

    Description

    Patient Barber

    Barbers will provide hair cut(s) to Veteran inpatients upon their request. Volunteers will comply with hand hygiene protocols as well as contact precautions per the direction of the ward staff and/or nursing staff. Barber will provide services for the Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder unit and Community Living Center units. Volunteers will not accept fee for services or tips.

    Barbers will provide evidence of Licensure initially and updates as renewed. Schedule will be determined based on volunteer availability and need of inpatient wards.
