Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Experience in medicine and/or public health, especially with youth
  • Experience writing for adolescent/young adult audiences

No experience with web design is required. While this is a volunteer position without monetary compensation, the volunteer will have an opportunity to work with talented professionals within this career field and receive an exemplary letter of reference from a prestigious medical institution.

Organization background:

The Center for Young Women’s Health (CYWH) is a collaboration between the Division of Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine and the Division of Gynecology at Boston Children’s Hospital. The Center is an educational entity that exists to provide teen girls and young women between 13-22, their parents, educators and health care providers with carefully researched health information at youngwomenshealth.org, along with moderated online health chats & conferences.
