    Description

    Summer Camp Volunteers Wanted: Bike/Swim Camp, Camp Kaos

    Join us for two fun, meaningful weeks of Summer Camp with UCP of the North Bay!

    Bike/Swim Camp

    This unique instructional camp helps children and young adults with disabilities learn how to ride bikes and build water safety skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.

    Dates: June 15–19

    Location: Sonoma State University

    Schedule: Flexible shifts available

    What You’ll Do:

    • Be paired 1:1 with a camper as their “buddy”
    • Support them in bike riding and water activities
    • Help keep campers safe, engaged, and having fun
    • Encourage confidence, independence, and inclusion

    Camp Kaos

    This traditional day camp style Summer Camp is lots of fun! Enjoy all the features of Howarth Park with your campers - petting zoo, carousel, steam train, and other recreational activities.

    Dates: August 3-6

    Location: Howarth Park, Santa Rosa

    Schedule: Flexible shifts available

    What You’ll Do:

    • Be paired with a group of campers and staff
    • Promote safety in an outdoor environment
    • Help keep campers engaged and having fun
    • Encourage confidence, independence, and inclusion

    Who Should Volunteer:

    • Teens (14+), college students, and adults
    • Anyone interested in education, recreation, or nonprofit work
    • People who enjoy being active, outdoors, and making a difference
