Volunteer Opportunity

Legislative Ambassador

Description: An ACS CAN Legislative Team Ambassador is an advocacy volunteer who has made commitment to a staff partner to take ongoing action in the fight against cancer. These actions can include contacting legislators, writing letters, signing petitions, fundraising, and sharing our advocacy work. Legislative Ambassadors "report" to the Congressional District Lead, known as the ACT Lead. Volunteers can track their advocacy work using the Ambassador Action Center and get reports. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get into advocacy. We will provide all the training you need to be a successful advocate.
