Seeking Board Members for Young Professional Board for Ek Tara

Ek Tara is looking for young dynamic youth leaders in North America who want to contribute their time and expertise in solving some of the most serious issues plaguing the growth and development of girls from marginalized communities in India. The Young Professional Board will launch in Jan 2021 and members will be appointed for a tenure of a year.

Responsibilities:

• Support Ek Tara across various initiatives, including any of the following: build strategies and partnerships to reach more girls, advocate on behalf of Ek Tara in various youth groups to increase awareness and support, direct engagement with Ek Tara students and community, support various fundraising campaigns.
• Specific roles will be determined based on member's expertise and area of interest
• Time commitment of 2-3 hours per week (virtual/remote)
• Join monthly virtual board meeting (included in 2-3 hours per week as per above)

• Young professional
• Passion for Ek Tara's mission
