    Public Relations and Partnerships Specialist

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Public Relations and Partnerships Specialist (Volunteer) with a strong background in communications, nonprofit relations, or international affairs to help expand our visibility and strategic connections. This role is ideal for a professional with a Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, International Relations, or a related field, who is passionate about human rights, education, and immigrant empowerment.

    The volunteer will lead outreach to organizations across California, the United States, and internationally, building collaborations that promote and scale our financial literacy education programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a PR and partnership outreach strategy to strengthen the Foundation’s visibility and credibility.
    • Identify and connect with nonprofits, educational institutions, and international organizations working in human rights, financial education, and immigrant/refugee support.
    • Draft and distribute press releases, partnership proposals, and collaboration briefs.
    • Represent International Foundation for World Freedom in virtual meetings and partnership discussions.
    • Support the development of media materials (e.g., newsletters, website content, social media announcements) that highlight project impact and partnerships.
    • Track and report outreach efforts and partnership outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, International Relations, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
    • Strong knowledge of nonprofit networking, international development, and/or human rights advocacy.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
    • Passion for education, inclusion, and social equity.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
