Food Bank Greeter and Check In

MSC needs volunteers for its Federal Way Food Bank to help us provide

essential resources to individuals and families in need. 

Greeters welcome all customers of the Food and Clothing Bank. Request identification, information and documentation for MSC's records. Provide information to our customers regarding Food Bank hours, services and eligibility. Assist our customers with questions and provide available resources. 

Required qualifications are: the ability to work in a standing position for the duration of your shift, demonstrate strong communication skills and customer service, ability to work in an outdoor environment.

Available shifts are: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30-11:00am and 11:00am-2:00 and Thursdays 11:00am-1:00pm.

All volunteers must complete an application online and have a completed and approved background check.

• We are following CDC and public health guidelines for social distancing and cleaning and are currently only seeking volunteers within the following parameters: volunteers who are healthy and showing no signs of illness.
• Volunteers who are not members of high-risk groups for COVID-19 (high risk groups include those 60+, with underlying health conditions, or who are pregnant).
• Volunteers age 16 or older.
• Volunteers must be willing and able to wear a mask or face covering during their entire volunteer shift.
