    Become a Hospice Companion Volunteer - Weymouth

    As a Companion Volunteer, you’ll spend time with patients in their homes or care facilities—wherever they feel most comfortable. Your presence offers more than company; it brings emotional support and a sense of peace during life’s most tender moments.

    What you’ll do:

    • Share conversations and listen to stories
    • Play games or enjoy music together
    • Read aloud or watch TV side by side
    • Take gentle walks or simply sit quietly
    • Offer companionship and a caring heart

    No medical tasks—just your time, kindness, and willingness to be there.

    All training is provided, so you’ll feel confident and supported every step of the way.
