Project HOPE, a global health and humanitarian relief organization, is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, and in America. We have immediate medical volunteer opportunities for health professionals in the United States.

In partnership with the City of Chicago and Cook county, Project HOPE volunteers will visit long-term care facilities to help bolster efforts to educate staff in infection prevention control (IPC) measures and achieve acceptable standards for prevention of COVID-19 transmission and service delivery where they do not exist. After the initial assessment, volunteers will mentor LTCF staff in appropriate mitigating measures to manage their areas of responsibility.

Medical volunteer opportunities: Project HOPE is looking for clinicians with experience in clinical education, long-term care/geriatrics, infection control and/or adult acute care/ICU/step-down unit. Background in public health and Spanish language skills desired. Deployment would be for a minimum of two weeks and transportation, lodging, and meals are provided.
