Children’s Leukemia Research Association (CLRA) is looking for candidates to grow, strengthen and diversify our Board of Trustees. We are looking for candidates who are supportive of CLRA’s mission and have experience with fundraising. Responsibilities will include:
Serving as an ambassador of our programs.
Attendance at quarterly board meetings (hybrid) and committee meetings as deemed necessary.
Developing and approving the annual budget and strategic plans.
Committing to an annual philanthropic commitment.
Attendance at and/or hosting of fundraising events.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
Professional experience in business, law, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector.
An understanding of the role of a non-profit board.
This is a non-compensated, volunteer board position. Time investment is approximately 3 hours per month. Candidates do not need to reside in New York.
