Yaisso needs volunteers with a passion for our mission, professional skills, and expertise to support the organization in serving the most vulnerable people in Africa. Volunteers can serve on the Board of Directors or help with other aspects of the work. The level of participation is flexible and varies depending on your desired involvement.

The Board of Directors is an elected group of volunteers who support the organization by providing mission-based leadership and strategic governance. Board members work to advance the organization's mission by: 

• Attending board meetings.
• Serving on at least one committee.
• Being a community advocate for the organization.
• Actively participating in fundraising initiatives.
• Providing fiduciary oversight and stewarding organizational funds.
