Volunteer Remote Tutor

The Community of Volunteer Educators (COVE) is a volunteer-run public service organization that provides free, virtual tutoring and after school programming for students in NYC. COVE aims to expand access to equitable youth learning opportunities and strives to advance issues of economic, racial, and social justice within our communities, especially in this unexpected shift to remote learning. 

We are in need of more volunteer tutors to help us achieve our mission. Responsibilities include:

• volunteering for at least one hour, once per week, with an individual student via Zoom or Google Meet

• communicating with families

• attending professional development workshops to stay attuned to student's needs
