Weekend Food Pickup, Sort, and Drop Off Volunteer (Local)

Bring your safe driving record and desire to make a difference to join our team as a food pickup and drop off volunteer. The food pickup and drop off volunteer will pick up food donations from various locations on various days throughout the week.

The Fit and Food Connection is a non-profit organization serving our neighbors in the St. Louis community. We provide wellness offerings to low-income families and empower our clients to get healthy through our five free fitness and nutrition programs. 

We are currently seeking local food pickup, sort, and drop off volunteers. One pickup and drop-off will take 1.5 hours.

Pickup and drop-offs are Saturdays, and food is dropped off at the pantry in North County. On Sunday mornings, donations are picked up from Fit Flavors in Chesterfield and dropped off to the pantry in North County by 1:00 PM.

Food is sorted every Sunday afternoon at the food pantry.

On Sundays, volunteers pick-up packed groceries at the pantry in North County at 2:00 PM and deliver the food in their own personal vehicles. Routes will be provided prior to arrival and families are expecting their arrival. Drivers will call the contact on their route with an estimated time of arrival.

Volunteers may pick up and deliver on Saturday and Sunday, sort on Sunday, or volunteer both days.
