Workforce Education Associate

 LCMC is looking for volunteers with a passion for service and education. As a workforce education associate, you will helping our tutoring programs with some of our tasks. All of this will be done online and volunteers must be knowledgeable in G-suite. Any other programs we use, you will be trained on. Workforce education associate tasks include:

- Make weekly engagement calls to current GED/College Prep students to answer questions, ensure progression toward goal(s), and address any attendance issues

- Make calls to prospective GED/College Prep students to explain the program and assist with enrollment

- Onboard newly enrolled GED/College Prep students into digital platform

- Answering public inquiries about digital literacy classes and informing people about registration dates and class dates

- Sharing the Northstar assessment link, explaining how it works, and what our digital literacy classes cover

- As students complete the assessments, populating the Digital Literacy Assessments sheet with the date, assessment, score, program, and what group they place into

- Reminding students to complete post-tests and re-sharing the assessment link the final week of classes

- Onboarding prospective digital literacy TAs 

Some office experience is preferred but not necessary; training will be provided.
