Role Overview 

As the Support Manager, you will create and oversee technical solutions for a variety of different projects within the School Group organization. You will direct staff, determine necessary technology advances and educate the organization members on the use of software and hardware used in the organization's day-to-day operations. Support manager are responsible for maintaining a dynamic knowledge base of technical solutions to ensure that the organization's IT infrastructure is as efficient and productive as possible. 

 

Essential Functions 

 

  • Supervise the maintenance and security of technical services and information within an organization, as well as ensuring adequate training and abilities of IT members 
  • Assigning tasks, executing projects or handling various IT operations 
  • Coordinating IT projects 
  • Implementing new software and technologies 
  • Training subordinate and management staff 
  • Providing guidance for problems and questions 
  • Participating in business meetings 
  • Drive and manage resources to achieve performance measures while delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction  
  • Execute red-to-green improvement plans change targeted metrics ultimately moving the impact goals.

Qualifications 

Basic 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in related field 
  • Deep understanding of the global product development and strategies involved and trends.  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong writing, interpersonal, relationship-building and collaboration skills.  
  • Ability to successfully interface with senior-level internal stakeholders 
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into product plans and programs. 
  • Flexibility to partner with and negotiate with colleagues and customers at all levels inside and outside the organization. 
  • Experience working cross-functionally in new product development process developing business cases, marketing requirements and coordinating product launch activities. 

Preferred 

  • Master’s degree in related field 
  • Experience working remotely as part of a team.  
  • Experience working in a start-up company, non-profit or entrepreneurial environment.  
  • Self-directed and disciplined with the ability to work independently in an ever-changing environment.
