    The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art.     We’re looking for a Recruitment Manager to join our growing team!

    As our Volunteer Recruiting Manager, you’ll shape the heart of our organization—our people. You’ll lead efforts to attract, engage, and onboard talented, mission-aligned volunteers who want to make a difference. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves connecting with people, strengthening communities, and helping build a thriving, purpose-driven team.

    What you’ll do:

    We are seeking an experienced Volunteer Recruitment Manager to lead our recruitment efforts across the organization. This role will focus on building teams and executing recruitment strategies swiftly to attract experienced talent eager to volunteer and contribute to our mission.

    • Develop and implement effective volunteer and team recruitment strategies
    • Create and promote outreach campaigns to attract diverse, committed candidates
    • Partner with team leads to identify staffing needs and draft engaging volunteer role descriptions
    • Coordinate and manage the full volunteer lifecycle—from recruitment and interviews to onboarding and engagement
    • Build partnerships with local organizations, schools, and online communities to grow our network
    • Maintain volunteer records and track engagement and retention initiatives
    • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and mission-centered volunteer experience

    What we’re looking for:

    • At least three years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process preferred. (nonprofit experience a plus).
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
    • Passion for people, community, and purpose-driven work.
    • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
    • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
    • Proficient with applicant-tracking software (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for a variety of roles.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
