    Role Overview:

    Greenstand is seeking a Project Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our Treetracker Wallet App, a secure and user-friendly platform for managing digital tokens. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of the wallet application, ensuring alignment with Greenstand's mission of sustainability and innovation.

    Compensation:

    Volunteer, until otherwise funded

    Reports to:

    VP of Engineering

    Collaborates with:

    Wallet App team and other Engineering Teams

    Leads

    Wallet App Team

    AREAS of RESPONSIBILITY

    • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for the Wallet App in alignment with Greenstand’s mission.

    • Develop and execute detailed project plans, and timelines for feature development and continuous improvements.

    • Coordinate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient workflows.

    • Monitor project progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

    • Oversee the integration of new features while ensuring usability, functionality, and user-centric design.

    • Regularly communicate project updates to stakeholders and gather feedback to refine the Wallet App.

    • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the project’s success.

    • Maintain detailed documentation for all Wallet App updates and processes.

    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

    • Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

    • Strong understanding of web and mobile application development processes and tools.

    • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

    • Strong communication skills with attention to detail, ensuring platform features align with user needs and organizational goals.

    • Experience with GitHub, GitDocs, and familiarity with open-source development practices is highly preferred.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proven experience in project management, particularly in software or web application projects.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications) preferred.

    • Experience in non-profit or environmental organizations is a bonus.

    • Ability to work independently
