Tech Savvy Volunteers for Creative Engagement for Adults who have experienced homelessness and trauma

Path with Art provides creative engagement to adults who have experienced homelessness, addiction, mental health issue, domestic violence and other traumas.

We are looking for tech-savvy volunteers to assist in our distance learning classes during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are based in Seattle, but this is a remote position so volunteers and participate from anywhere. We are looking to support our participants in staying connected to community in this time of social distancing. We provide tablets and tech support for our participants who do not already have access to the internet so they can connect to essential resources, and maintain access to creative community.

Commitment: our classes are two hours/week for eight weeks. This quarter we are offering painting, choir, podcasting, drawing and more. A 1.5 hour orientation is provided.

Duties: Support the teaching artists and students with all aspects of classroom learning including internet connection and Zoom support, assisting individual students as needed, facilitating breakout rooms, and modeling class participation (when other duties aren't needed).
