Bar Volunteer
Box Factory for the Arts – St. Joseph, MI
About the Role:
Our Bar Volunteers help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere during concerts and events by serving drinks to guests. No prior bartending experience is required—we’ll provide training, and for those interested in a bigger commitment, we even offer TIPS and TAMS certification opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks to guests.
- Handle cash and card transactions (training provided).
- Check IDs when necessary.
- Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized.
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly smile.
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, responsible, and outgoing personality.
- Comfortable serving alcohol (must be 18+).
- Willingness to learn basic bartending skills.
- Reliable and punctual for event shifts.

Time Commitment:
Event shifts are typically 3–4 hours in the evening. Flexible scheduling available.
